Christmas Secret Santa 2009

Well it’s upon us once again…and this year I am even more excited! We‘ve all seemed to have had a busy, sometimes hard-going year, so I’m hoping that as Christmas approaches we can all relax a little more and remember the true meaning of the season: To have fun, love as a family and give our hearts to one another.

May you enjoy thinking of the best gift you can give this year to your ‘secret Santa’. I hope that you will use the time from now ‘till Christmas to find out just what they need or want to make it truly special for them. (I will be sending you a few ideas in the coming weeks-just to give you a hint or two)

I’ve spoken to most about a budget of between £25-£30!Let me know if this is too much, and please try to stick to it! Remember that the best gifts are not those that come from the shop, but those that come from the heart.

Holidays are officially OVER...

Hey guys, well today just proved it, the summer holidays are well and truly over!! (boo-hoo) It was my first day back after ermm... i guess in many peeps eyes far to long! Boy is it exhausting work! I forget how much energy a class full of kids takes outta you! But your'll be pleased to know I survived...just! A new term, a new class and a new teacher! I've progressed to the juniors, a little more scary-but i'm sure i'll be just fine.

One of the little boys came in this morning in floods of tears. It was not only his first day in our class, but his first day in our school! Bless him I felt the same, I wanted to cry because I missed my bed sooo much! Needless to say, I got to take a nap as soon as I got in! (Thanks for making tea Jonathan-love ya!)

Well I hope you're first week of September is going as well as mine is! Love you all!

Just to keep you all updated...

So i'm not sure if you're all aware of the exciting, but very scary news that Jonathan and I have at the moment. So for those who haven't a clue what i'm goin on about... we've decided to adopt!

Yeah! Finally we'll have babinos in our home! We're still at the early stages right now, and we're prepared for the looooong waits and frustrating trials ahead...but yeah we're on our way.

We've been invited to attend an adoption preperation course on the 16th and 17th of September, which is just great! After that it'll get a little crazy, what with interviews and training, hopefully being excepted and then selection of our children. Watch this space for updates!

What a superb film....

Jonathan and I have just watched 'Seven Pounds' staring Will Smith. Boy what a film! HAs anyone else seen it yet? What do you think?
